Description & RequirementsOur Sales and Event Management development team build momentum in deploying application features and modernizing with Cloud technologies. Every developer plays a key role in maintaining the team's culture and benefits from an environment of collaboration and support.As a member of our R&D team, the QA Engineer works closely with Business Analysts, Product Owner, Product Managers, the wider QA organization and Support teams to develop new functionality and provide an excellent experience to our customers and partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating new software features, preventing regression to existing features, supporting developers with investigation of issues/defects, and supporting a major modernization of the product. The core focus for the QA team is to expand the coverage of our automation test suite and to enhance the capabilities of our load and performance test suite.Job Description:- Learn new product knowledge by reading the requirements, attending cross functional meetings, and working with the existing QA team- Meet with developers/product managers to understand new and existing product requirements- Communicate defects to the development team by documenting steps to reproduce and staging data in the QA environments- Discuss testing strategies with fellow QA members, senior and principal developers, managers, and product members- Create and review automated test cases for the product releases currently written in Selenium and Loadrunner- Document QA findings using Jira and communicate the status and priority of these issues in daily standup meetings- Manage QA artifacts using Git and explore the integration of test automation into GitLab pipelinesJob Requirements:- Solid Experience in test planning, designing, execution, defect tracking and test case creation/execution- Strong knowledge of authoring, debugging, and maintaining automation tests using Java and Selenium- Excellent work ethic and team attitude; a commitment to exhausting coverage and finding issues that the team has missed- A love for breaking things and finding ways to work around problems- Ability to think through large abstract systems and processes, comfortable problem-solving and working with data.- Good verbal and written communication skills in the English languagePreferred skills:- Understanding and experience of working with AWS cloud technologies- Exposure to LoadRunner for load and performance testing- Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing large data sets- Experience with our tools - Jira, Confluence, Git, GitLab- Experience testing APIs (REST/SOAP)- Customer focused mindset, with the ability to understand end user requirements and consider how users work with our software, to validate user experience as well as functionality.About InforInfor is a global leader in business cloud software products for companies in industry specific markets.
