Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

• Process daily transactions
• Accounting of incoming invoices, bank and cash transactions, and other transactions
• Formal checking of invoices
• Filing of all documents
• Account clarification (suppliers, customers, etc.)
• Prepare the monthly bank reconciliation
• Prepare the tax returns
• Control social security returns
• Prepare the monthly reporting
• Prepare and updating of the depreciation table
• Update the accounting data settings in the information system in line with current legislation

• Check and enter data in our payroll software for the preparation of pay slips
• Prepare pay slips by collecting and analyzing all the necessary information (hours worked, paid leave, overtime, bonuses, taxes, contributions, sick pay, etc.)
• Draw up pay slips in accordance with employment regulations, legislation, and HR policy
• Stay informed about regulation changes
• Manage updates to payroll software
• Draw up the company's social security declarations (employee and employer contributions, etc.)

• You have in-depth knowledge of standard accounting procedures in Tunisia
• You have at least five years of practical experience as an accountant
• You are good at analytical thinking and communicate very well in English (written and spoken).
• You are an empathetic team player who is discreet, trustworthy, and reliable
• You complete your tasks independently, in a structured and precise manner
