Job Description: Job Title: HR Business Partner
Report to: HR Manager
Location: TunisOverview of Role:We are seeking individuals who share our values-hardworking, motivated, driven, and fun.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining personnel records, managing HR documentation (such as employment files and onboarding materials), and keeping internal databases up to date for National Pen, as part of the People Operations team in a diverse and global environment.
You will also support the day-to-day activities of the People Operations department, including handling disciplinary procedures, supporting conflict resolution, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Additionally, you will oversee all daily HR operations at National Pen Tunisia.What you will do:
  • Maintain and organize employee personnel records.
  • Lead and support the disciplinary process, ensuring fairness and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage conflict resolution by advising managers and employees, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Prepare and maintain HR documentation.
  • Contribute to regular HR reports and presentations (e.g., employee records tracking).
  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks related to HR operations.
  • Provide support with employee health insurance programs.
  • Actively contribute to HR projects and initiatives.
  • Advise leadership on onboarding, and terminations.
  • Support and guide employees on policies, procedures, and employee-related matters.
  • Assist in performance management processes and help managers implement development and improvement plans.
  • Monitor and analyze key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, absenteeism) to provide actionable insights to the HR team.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes in collaboration with relevant teams.
What we need from you:
  • Master's degree in human resource management, Psychology or related field, required
  • 3+ years of HR experience
  • Proven strong foundation and knowledge of principles & practice of HR including employment law & compliance requirements and wage/salary trends
  • Experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS
  • Proven client management and business literacy skills
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to set high personal goals and work independently
  • Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to make recommendation to effectively resolve problems or issues
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Proven acuity in MS office suite, internet and data-base management
  • Strong written and spoken English and French skills are required
  • Flexibility to work in shifts when required.
